Kindergarten Senior KG

Kindergarten Senior KG, often referred to as Upper Kindergarten (UKG), is the second year of pre-primary education designed for children aged 4 to 6 years. This level focuses on enhancing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. In Senior KG, children engage in a variety of activities that promote cognitive development, creativity, and physical coordination. They learn through play-based methods, storytelling, songs, and hands-on activities. Emphasis is placed on language development, with children being introduced to basic reading and writing skills. Numeracy skills are developed through counting, recognizing numbers, and simple arithmetic.
Social skills are nurtured through group activities, encouraging teamwork, sharing, and empathy. The curriculum also includes basic science concepts, environmental awareness, and creative arts. Senior KG serves as a crucial bridge between preschool and formal schooling, preparing children for the structured learning environment of primary school while fostering a love for learning.
